Of course the ditzy crowd that was in attendence went wild.
He is probably right because the "business" that he would had to tend to would be to hurry to the bathroom because he would have crapped in his pants.
Come on folks! The truth is, nobody knows what they would do being in that position. Kerry was playing to a crowd that wanted him to give that answer.
Kerry was speaking at the UNITY convention (basically a gathering of Left journalist of America) when he made the above statement and the statement below:
Kerry, speaking to minority journalists at their quadrennial Unity convention, "was warmly accepted throughout his speech and he drew big applause with his comments about the lack of minority journalists and ownership of television stations and newspapers," MSNBC.com's Darrell Bowling reported. "He says when he's president he would make sure to bring in an FCC chairman who would fight to increase minority ownership of broadcast outlets."
Can someone tell this man that we need more "minorities" to have broadcast ownership?
