<description>One thing is for sure, when dirty laundry is aired, the majority of us will wash the pain - shame - blame, I mean dirt away, while others stare in denial and complain!

Fear of a Region/Country:

It’s Time to Employ a Workable Plan

In the 1970’s to the early 80’s the City of Atlanta was captive under the concept of

“The City of Fear”. Black children were disappearing from the streets of Atlanta and dead bodies were on the rise. The city suffered from the syndrome of blame, shame and disbelief that in the 1970s’ black children vanished from city neighborhoods and no one would see a thing. Atlanta experienced events which bled Black Americans of their roots and destroyed families by witnessing the cold calculated killings of its young,

 - future generation. Black families had become fearful and city officials were exhausted trying to find evidence of traces to cease violent acts immediately while tracking leads that were either too cold or prorogated. It simply appeared that even though some folks saw something unethical occur, these same people would not and didn’t disclose necessary information to proper authorities to help rid themselves and their community of volatile acts – simply because of fear and the possibility of retaliation from the same community of which they at one time would consider protecting.

As regions move into 2008, the “America’s Cities” has taken on the concept of “The City of Fear”. Our neighbors, both old and young people are dying in the streets of regions. Everyday law abiding citizens are found captive in their homes for fear of criminal mischief. Communities are shattered and positive family structure is almost non-existing. Senseless crimes are taking over our neighborhoods and everyone is subject to become a victim of ruthless behavior of others within any possible moment. And, at the same time, our elected officials, stake holders, and religious leaders appear to be more focused on the application of “Pretty Poison” rather than seeking viable workable answers, solutions and resolutions to this issue of urgency. To make matters worse, our targeted media have a tendency to either over expose or under expose critical issues of which this community face daily as they fight and struggle for high ratings to increase their advertising revenue stream; whether any media outlet is really concern about the welfare of this region remains to be seen.

Saving this region and any other from numerous cultures of disrespect is not impossible nor is it difficult. Answers and strategies are a mere neck twist away. When and only when this entire nation realize that it’s going to take extreme efforts, innovative ideas, abolishment of “egos” and risk taking leadership not looking for strange bed-fellows to move this region forward, this is when “The City of Fear” will experience a magical promising wave of dedication, hope, quality of life and growth for all mankind in this select region, not just a hand picked few.

It is time to start looking downward and reject experience and focus on challenge, change, compassion and commitment.

Everyone is asking “Can We Save Our Neighborhoods” when in fact the only question should be “Are the powers to be willing to re-invest in a fallen society once destined for greatness”!

Project 21,000 of “Pure” Excellence INC developed a 48 page step by step module on how all cities (with a special focus on large urban cities ) can begin to decrease unethical behaviors within their communities while striving to permanently get rid of crime (at least make the streets safe for all citizens). The powers to be are aware of this project…and when cities eventually hit rock bottom, only then will the congress wo(man)s, county commissioners, mayors, senators, state reps., pastors, media etc…will be forced to seriously look at this project model….,and make a wise choice to begin healing all regions..

<description>While I was at school, the blacks(not too many of us at this school) in the lobby of our living center would look at the site and laugh at the ridiculousness of what was on the site. However, we also happened to let it be known that we would never let anyone we know look like the crap that was on there. It's odd when a white student asks, "do u know anyone like that?"</description>
