You know, this Wayans deal is the same kind of attitude that got us sold into slavery. Where is the cultural responsibility? The ‘N’ word doesn’t impact Wayan, but what about the little guy who’s down and out and still “chilled” by that word as he has to work in a hostile environment to support his family.

And brother Brian, we were first called “Black” by those Kings and Queens, who built the pyramids, you were talking about. They called their land “Kemet” which means “Black” in Old Egyptian.

I think its all about us moving on from these word games we choose to play. So what our ancestors are dead they don’t care, they have better worries. No matter how much the word hurts your feelings the way we try to unlegitimize or legitmize the word or how it is used is a complete waste of time. WE ARE THE DESCENDANTS OF AFRICAN QUEENS AND KINGS,BUILDERS OF THE PYRAMIDS, FATHERS OF CIVILIZATION AND LANGUAGE AMONGST MAY OTHER THINGS SO WHY SHOULD SOME EMPTY AND CLOSE MINDED PEOPLE AND THE USE OF A WORD THAT MEANS CARPENTER (ONCE AGAIN) BE SO INTERESTING IT HAS BECOME OUR DIVISION NOT THEM DIVIDING US. aLL ON ALL GET OVER IT. WE ARE SO MUCH MORE THAN ANY NEGATIVE CONNOTATION OF ANY WORD INCLUDING BLACK.

Nigga’s always trying to make a dollar on black peoples backs. People need to think about the consequences of their actions, respect our history and the feelings of the people who sacrificed to bring us to where we are today.

How about including this scenario:

A new employee who happens to be white working in a Department store, is asked by a customer who happens to be black, “Where can I find the latest urban wear?” and with that the overly anxious to please employee replies, “The Nigga line of clothing is located over there”. Bring out the SWAT team, Jessie and AL and marches on several major cities. LOL
