How does a child living under your roof that you are feeding, clothing, and taking care of do things that you don't know about. I can remember times when my mother would just walk into my room and open my closet door or look under the bed. No warning, no conversation. Her rule was this is my house and if you don't like it the door swings open. Parents have got to be more responsible for thier children. You want to keep your kids safe then do your job. It is your right to see who they are talking to on the internet. It is your right to snoop and invade privacy. Go to the school unannouced and see who they hang out with. Pop up at the mall when they are there. I would rather my son hate me now they be dead, or on drugs or molested because I was to concerned about being his friend. I am glad my mother gave me just enough rope to hang myself but also gave me the tools to untie the noose. I guess I am just clueless.
