B. Smith adds furniture to her brand
(azcentral.com) Model-turned-entrepreneur B. Smith is expanding her brand of lifestyle products with a line of furniture and home accent pieces.Collaborating with furniture manufacturer Clayton Marcus, a division of La-Z-Boy, the B. Smith collection made its debut at the International Home Furnishings Market in High Point, N.C., recently. “It was a natural progression. Women would ask me, ‘When are you going to do furniture?’ ” says Smith, who has been designing her collection of home accessories (which range from serve ware to comforter sets) exclusively for Bed Bath & Beyond for the past six years.
“B. has a presence in the lifestyle arena. We felt that could translate to furniture,” says Mac McCall, president of Clayton Marcus. (more…)
