I could not locate any pictures for the following individuals, but their names alone speak louder than any simple statistic.

A person assaulted on May 10 died this week and has been added to the city’s homicide rolls, but as of press time police wouldn’t offer additional information.
Monday, May 14
12:39 a.m. Nathaniel Hicks, a 30-year-old African-American man, was shot in the head, limbs, and body in front of a house in the 2500 block of Garrett Avenue in the Coldstream Homestead Montebello neighborhood. He died at Johns Hopkins Hospital at 1:19 a.m.
Tuesday, May 15
10 p.m. Two people were shot in the 500 block of South Smallwood Street in Carrollton Ridge. Both Deandre Salmond, a 19-year-old African-American man from the neighborhood, and a 15-year-old African-American male, had been shot several times and were taken to Maryland Shock Trauma Center. The 15-year-old needed surgery but survived. Salmond died at 10:50 p.m. This is the fifth murder in Carrollton Ridge this year. Three other city neighborhoods–Barclay, Broadway East, and Central Park Heights–have also had five homicides this year.
Wednesday, May 16
7:03 p.m. Police found Earl Cornish, a 21-year-old African-American man, lying in the 500 block of Chateau Avenue off York Road. He had been shot repeatedly and died at Sinai Hospital less than an hour later.
Thursday, May 17
2:09 a.m. Robert Perlie, a 16-year-old African-American male, was lying face down inside a house in the 200 block of North Dallas Court just a few blocks from Hopkins Hospital. He had been shot in the head and was pronounced dead at Hopkins at 2:36 a.m. Perlie is the 24th teenager in Baltimore City to be murdered in the first 21 weeks of 2007.
