Silence on THIS torture
If you are one of the few out there who is holding your breath for a reaction to see if the same folks who have been raising hell about Korans allegedly being flushed down the toilet in Guantanamo Bay to this latest development–breath! Found via Drudgereport.com, here are just two of many pictures found in a “how-to” guide for torture located somewhere in Iraq.
MAY 24–In a recent raid on an al-Qaeda safe house in Iraq, U.S. military officials recovered an assortment of crude drawings depicting torture methods like “blowtorch to the skin” and “eye removal.” Along with the images, which you’ll find on the following pages, soldiers seized various torture implements, like meat cleavers, whips, and wire cutters.

The images, which were just declassified by the Department of Defense, also include a picture of a ramshackle Baghdad safe house described as an “al-Qaeda torture chamber.” It was there, during an April 24 raid, that soldiers found a man suspended from the ceiling by a chain. According to the military, he had been abducted from his job and was being beaten daily by his captors. In a raid earlier this week, Coalition Forces freed five Iraqis who were found in a padlocked room in Karmah. The group, which included a boy, were reportedly beaten with chains, cables, and hoses. while docuements may exist I find it hard to believe these are it considering the captions are in english.

There are a lot of reason I don’t believe that this was put out by Islamic Extremist but the language thing is a major part of it. Please understand I don’t support torture in most (a story for another day) cases. But do feel that this is just propaganda.

I’m curious. Could you name at least 3 of those reasons?

1. Look at the people in the picture and how they are dressed. Islam even at its worse has issues with showing your body. Even in the beheading that have been shown or the torture they have shown the people a have been fully clothed.
2. Those in Islam that would torture would reserve that torture for the infidels (usually american white men) the people in these pictures are not white men.
3. The Qur’an teaches the punishments that are appropriate and therefore it is unlikely that this type of torture would be recommended. Instead they would be required to proclaim Allah as there God and refusal would lead to death.
4. Then the language thing.
I am not saying that Al Qaeada didn’t produce this document. . I just don’t believe that they did.

So its all those radical Quakers and Druids running around Iraq drilling heads using the blow torches and stuff right?
