Today’s Black Woman: Superhead

Don’t know who she is? Do a google search under Superhead (Hint: If you are under 18, ask your parent first).
Read the title of this post s-l-o-w-l-y (for those who may not be too swift).
More commentary that writes itself.

As long as this type of shit is interesting to many black folks there will always be someone somewhere ready willing and able to to satifiy the need.
I know many of us hate it, but the reality is that man y, many black people both young and old want to read about superhead and her likes.
Sometimes I think too many of us are unwilling to accept that as long as a large portion of our coummunity remain uneducated and under-educated this is the type of stuff they WILL and DO find of interest. No the rank and file do not want to read long winded poerty, or an indept hiistorical perspective on African-American culture. They do not have the educational background and the patience that goes along with it. That is simple fact and whites and members of other races with the same level of education seek entertainment on the same low level.
I irony is that I know many educated blacks, both men and women that still indulge in this gossipy drivel on a daaily basis. I guess that has a lot to do with the high level of “celeberity worship” that I amoung black folks.
Really, as long a we are willing to give each and every black who manages to make a great deal of money doing whatever a free pass our children will continue to believe that everything these fools do is acceptable.

She is a desperate person, trying hard to legitimize herself. Her 15 minutes are up though.
