The only ones I don't like are when people do something with low contrast - like dark blue on black or light shades of green and red.  About 10% of the male population has a hard time discerning certain low contrast color combinations and I'm one of them.  I stopped reading Wired a couple of years ago because it literally hurt my eyes to try and read it.</description>
