‘Today’ Al Roker is producing up a storm

To most, Al Roker is the jovial weatherman on NBC’s “Today” show.
Off air, though, Roker is a television mini-mogul with upward of 20 shows in various stages of development.
In coming weeks, a Roker show focusing on food companies will launch on the Food Network, and April 2 the Rokerproduced reality show “DEA,” tailing Drug Enforcement Administration agents, launches on Spike TV.
“I’m really proud of them,” Roker said of the works produced by Al Roker Entertainment. “I haven’t done a show I’m not proud of. I think with each show we get better, our proficiency has gotten better.” (more…)
