Tokyo Rose lives!

Rush Limbaugh has been pulling a Tokyo Rose on Democrats during this primary, and I must admit it has been hilarious to say the least. You may not like his politics, but the man is smarter than what his critics publically are willing to credit him.
It may not pan out the way he is predicting, but he has certainly made the process fun to watch for a change.

I heard that the Republicans who voted in Indiana voted 52% for Clinton and 46% for Obama.
I expect them all to go back to the GOP in November. I question whether Obama has as much Republican support as he and others let on.
I just watched Limbaugh say he thinks Obama will be the weakest candidate.

It all depends on who is doing the spinning. The flip side of that claim is that McCain has been getting support from Democrats. So I think that it is anybody’s guess on who is going to benefit the most from cross-over voters.
I heard some Democratic talking head this morning downplaying the signifficance of the White blue collar demographic—an area where Obama has been very weak. I’ve heard other Democrats doing the same in these last few weeks. With McCain being more in the Center than Obama, I think that it is foolish for Democrats to assume that this demographic is just going to fold and vote for Obama, especially in key blue states where he suffered losses. He is going to have to do a much better job making the sale with that group if he is to get elected. Same goes for the Hispanic block. Now THAT’S a whole ‘nother issue to itself.
Obama could get the help he needs depending on his VP pick.

Totally agree regarding the White blue collar demographic. I can see many of them voting for McCain. After all, they would share the (erroneous) notion that Americans have always stood on their own two feet and never needed help.
I think the only group that I believe will vote for Obama in Nov after stating they wouldn’t is white feminists. Especially after McCain stated he wants the conservative judges on the bench.
